Less Shedding *Natural Hair*

IMG_20140519_143526_952

Hello beauties, I hope all is well. In this post I’m sharing my NEW conditioning treatment, its benefits, and the changes my hair has gone through.

MY CONDITIONING TREATMENT INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/2 cup coconut butter
  • 3 tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tsp sweet almond oil
  • 3 tsp evoo
  • 5 drops lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • allow to set in hair for 20mins then rinse

Keeping it simple and smooth. I’ve notice that since I’ve subtracted a few oils from my condition treatment, such as hemp, and castor oil. This treatment is easier to rinse out, and my hair is super freaking soft. The oils listed above work very well together for my hair, no filmy substance left after rinsing.

AFTER THE RINSE:

My hair was so soft and shiny. But the biggest surprise for me was the amount of hair shedding I had after washing, conditioning, and applying my leave-in (kinky curly knot today)

[This is only from todays wash day. Not counting shed hair throughout the week].

I been using this treatment for a month now, and combing through my hair has been a pleasant experience every time. YAY!

I know I’ve mention coconut hair recipes so many times in the past, and you all are probably sick of reading them. However, I cannot stress how amazing it’s been for hair. My hair has gotten stronger, thicker, softer, shinier, healthier. Having a healthy head of hair is all I want, and I’m achieving it. πŸ™‚
